The XR724 smart thermostat is compatible with any brand of traditional HVAC system, including standard single-stage, two-stage, and multi-speed systems. It is not compatible with variable speed systems. This means you can take advantage of all that Trane HVAC Diagnostics has to offer without having a Trane HVAC system.

No. The XR724 is for use with standard HVAC systems only. Zoned systems must incorporate the Link UX360 or another of our variable speed-compatible smart thermostats.
